Closing Date: 20.9 2018. The grants program aims to create an enabling environment for women’s rights activists and advocates to grow and sustain their impact in developing stronger movements in Georgia, as well as encouraging cross-movement and cross regional collaboration. Formal and informal groups led by women and girls are welcome to apply.
Grants of up to EUR 5000 EUR are available for organizations’ reflection and development, visibility, infrastructure, leadership capacity building, well-being, holistic security, strategic and communications planning, building resilience, encouraging cooperation between different movements, and creating strategic alliances.
The project will also focus on empowering organizations and groups, through opportunities to participate in national and international convening of activists from Armenia, Georgia, Germany, and Ukraine.
The grants competition is supported by filia.die frauenstiftung, Germany. Ukrainian Women’s Fund, Armenian Women’s Fund and Women’s Fund in Georgia plan to implement projects in their countries for the programme “Civil Society and movement needs safe spaces to grow”.
