The CIP enables young Hungarian-Americans— and English-speaking Hungarians in Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Croatia, and Slovenia— to gain public service experience at Washington DC-based institutions. CIP currently seeks qualified applicants for internship positions during the Spring 2018, Summer 2018, and Fall 2018 sessions. Participants should be motivated by a desire to enhance public service capacity within their respective places of origin. Interns will also be expected to complete a Coalition project of mutual interest during their Washington DC stay.
Internship grants will cover local living and transportation expenses in the Washington, DC area for the duration of internship up to four months, depending upon the requirements of the host institutions.
