Combating Discrimination and Hate – Towards A Society Based on Solidarity [EVZ Foundation]

Applications Due 13.5 2019. Support for dialogues and coalitions in the Czech Republic, in Lithuania, Poland, and Germany. With their projects, organisations must demonstrate active commitment to diversity in society and are helping bring about conditions that enable people wherever they are to live together in security and mutual respect.

Grants Range: EUR 20 000 to 50 000. Project Duration: 12 months initially. Support will be provided for personnel and non-personnel costs. Coalitions must be clearly identified in the project cost plan. Financially secure applicants are expected to make an appropriate contribution themselves. Projects can also make use of third-party funding.

Supported projects will learn about coalition building through cross-border networking activities and training events. They will also be continuously monitored/evaluated. The experience will also be channelled into the further development of funding programmes. After the selection of the best project ideas, a networking and advisory conference will be held in Berlin, probably 27 and 28 June 2019. Coalitions must be willing to take an active part in the support programme.
