Prevent + Combat Intolerance and Monitor, Prevent and Counter Hate Speech Online

Applications Due 24.4 2019. Call for proposals to prevent and combat racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance and to monitor, prevent and counter hate speech online. Geographic Scope: EU Member States (including their overseas departments); Iceland, Liechtenstein, Republic of Serbia.

Projects can be either national or transnational. Applications must be submitted by a partnership, including at least two organisations (applicant and partner) actively involved in the implementation of the proposed action (unless specified otherwise). Grants Range: minimum EUR 75 000.

Priority Area 1: To better prevent and combat racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance.

Applicants and Partners must be public bodies or private organisations, duly established in one of the countries participating in the programme, or international organisations. For-profit entities may only submit applications in partnership with public bodies or private non-profit organisations.

Priority Area 2: To better respond to the proliferation of hate speech online.

Priority Area 3: To improve national authorities’ capacity to respond to racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance.

Applicants must be public authorities of one of the countries participating in the Programme; partners must be public bodies or private organisations, duly established in one of the countries participating in the Programme, or international organisations.
