Nominations due: 15.10 2018. Fellowship is a year-long media skills, communication and leadership program designed for standout development professionals from the developing world. Open to talented individuals — regardless of professional experience level — who possess big ideas, strong personal stories, critical thinking, confident opinions, and a desire to share their perspectives on global development with a broader international audience.
For 2019, a total of 25 Fellows will be selected: 15 development experts from fields such as food security, global health, development economics, health and human rights, and climate change; and 10 experts working on the frontlines of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
The program is non-residential and not full-time, yet requires a significant and sustained time commitment. All expenses related to the fellowship are paid, including certain media-related travel costs.
Nominations strongly encouraged from mentors, supervisors, and professors. Self-nominations are not eligible. This is not a fellowship for journalists or others trained in and working professionally in communications fields.
