Closing Date: 1.4 2018. Award honors outstanding and lasting scholarly contributions to racial, ethnic and/or religious relations. Recipients do not need to be American citizens or U.S. residents.
Prize includes USD $25k and a medal, to be presented at a ceremony reception, featuring a public lecture delivered by the recipient on the Brandeis University campus in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Gittler Prize winners will also spend 2-3 days on campus, to meet with students and faculty, and to participate in other appropriate activities (e.g. public talks, media interviews, and class discussions).
